Murthwaite Fell ponies up Cautley Holme Bottom

The Murthwaite Fell ponies are bred and reared in the traditional way.  They roam as a semi-wild herd throughout the year on the vast expanse of the Howgill Fells, which range across the old borders of Westmorland.

Heltondale Misty IV 
ridden by Georgie James, won the Olympia Qualifier
at Myerscough Agricultural College on 31st May 2004.
The judge was Mrs Seymour.
Misty also won her place at the Horse of the Year Show
by taking a class at Solihull later in the week
